Willis Towers Watson PLC said on Tuesday that it has launched a sports and entertainment industry group to identify, mitigate and transfer risks associated with the sector.
Ian Tomlin, Head of Accident and Health, will lead the London-based industry group. Willis said in a statement on Tuesday.
Mr. Tomlin reports to Jo Holliday, London-based CEO at Willis. He will retain his current duties in accident and health but will also lead sports and entertainment practices, all according to an email from a spokeswoman.
Mr. Tomlin said in the statement that the sports and entertainment group could support event organizers and production companies in collaboration with Willis Towers Watson Leisure and Hospitality Practices.
