We recently spoke with Sean Mooney, President of Mooney Insurance Brokers, and Nick Jones, Vice President of Sales / Ops at Brewer Insurance Group. The webinar covered the benefits that Sean and Nick have seen when using the InsuredMine platform and how InsuredMine helps busy agents simplify the software they use and keep everything under one roof.
So what is InsuredMine?
InsuredMine is an add-on to all agency management systems designed and developed to help insurance companies consolidate multiple sales and marketing programs into one all-in-one solution. This helps insurance companies increase their revenue, reduce their operating costs and stay efficient in their daily workflows. The best part? InsuredMine focuses specifically on the insurance industry, which means that our product is built with the problems and pain that most insurance agents already face today.
What was life like before InsuredMine?
When asked about life before InsuredMine, Nick shared insight into a workflow that is primarily governed by excel sheets, post-it notes, and the occasional wish and prayer. He even said that the sales team's performance declined because the technology they used was too complicated and clumsy, but there were no better marketing options. As Nick said, "We were looking for a product to help us solve our sales, engagement, marketing and analytics issues."
When they found InsuredMine, Nick said life became much easier. His team was able to consolidate their tools in InsuredMine alone, which helped them get more done in less time. Even better, the InsuredMine technology was simple and easy to use, which meant that there was no steep learning curve either. Nick says that his team does about 50-60% of the work they originally did, with the same effect.
When we asked Sean about life before InsuredMine, he gave us insight into all the different tools he was using: Pipedrive for sales, Freshdesk for customer service, RingCentral for text, Mailchimp for email, SharePoint for documents and Collect for Google reviews. This spirit-taped solution caused many problems for Sean and his team because none of them were directly integrated with QQ Catalyst. This meant that Sean's team had to manually insert data into each tool which took time from working directly with customers and resulted in many data entry errors.
When Sean moved his team from his duck-taped tool kit to InsuredMine, he said it was like "night and day". There were no more data entry problems, the team could work efficiently and effectively, and there was no need for multiple software solutions when only one was needed ̵
What made Nick and Sean use InsuredMine?
When asked what made Nick and Sean consider InsuredMine in the first place, some common themes emerged.
The only problem that Nick and Sean both commented on was missing data. For Nick, he knew that CRM lacked data, but there was no way to find which accounts and records were missing data without manually looking at each account. For Sean, he mentioned that because the tools they used were not synchronized with QQ Catalyst, there were always problems with missing data and duplicate records.
Consolidation of Tools
Another problem that both Nick and Sean struggled with was the wide range of tools they used. From Salesforce to Pipedrive and others, it was difficult to keep track of what each tool was used for and how data needed to be imported to function properly.
