The month of life insurance

Have you been thinking about life insurance lately? Only about half of Americans own life insurance and even less know the details of what their policy entails. Maybe you have not thought about this for a long time or maybe you have never really thought about it before, but now is the perfect time to start because September is the month of life insurance awareness. This is a whole month dedicated to educating you about the importance of life insurance and how it can provide financial protection to both you and your loved ones.

A brief history of the month for life insurance awareness:

Life Insurance Awareness Month was founded in 2004 by the non-profit Life Happens. Their goal? To help people across the country learn and feel empowered to have life insurance conversations.

We know that these conversations are not always easy. No one wants to think about the risk of leaving loved ones behind. That is why it is conversations we take with care and empathy, to protect you and your loved ones is something we take seriously.

A look at the facts

According to the 2021

insurance barometer study conducted by Life Happens and the Life Insurance Marketing Research Association (LIMRA), the ownership of life insurance decreased last year to 52%. The same study concluded that 42% of people believe they would struggle financially within six months if a primary wage earner died. The scariest statistic, however, is that 1 in 4 of those surveyed said they would fight in just one month. That is why we are so passionate about helping you not only get a life insurance policy but also feel confident that the coverage you have will help you give your loved ones peace of mind if the unthinkable happens.
