Danvers, MA

There is no shortage of spooky attractions in Danvers. Danvers State Hospital is a notoriously haunted place. It was used to film the horror film "Session 9". A mental hospital opened in 1878, it was known for its cruel conditions and dubious medical procedures. The hospital was open until 1992 until it was later transformed into an apartment complex. And since 2007, fires began to mysteriously break out in the building for no reason.

If you decide to visit, the original façade still remains, along with the cemetery and the outside of two wings. And while you're in Danvers, be sure to check out the Salem Village Witchcraft Victims Memorial.

Fall River, MA

Fall River is home to Lizzie Borden House. It is the original home where a 1982 double murder took place. Nowadays, it is a hotbed for paranormal activity. It hosts many paranormal activity shows and documentaries. Visitors are welcome to take a tour and for those who are particularly daring, they can book a night in Bed & Breakfast.
