Obligation for Every Claim Person Operating in California
Watch the full video at https://youtu.be/W2RJX8HTytwebrit19659003 1988 The California Fair Settlement Procedures require all insurance claimants to read the requirements and or participate in an annual training program by September 1 of each year.
Insurance companies are required to ensure that every employee who is involved in any way in the claims process is trained in the regulations or has submitted a reply stating that he or she has read and understands the rules. The rules even require that the insurance officers certified by the CEO under oath that each employee has been trained with respect to and / or understands the rules. This requirement must be met in order to avoid the possibility of administrative penalties for the insurer or prosecution of the tortfeasor.
The following are two forms that can be used as proof that the requirements of the regulations are met.
