Ryan Specialty Group LLC said Friday it has restructured its transportation practice and appointed new leaders to it.
The wholesaler said the existing Interstate Insurance Management program will be renamed Ryan Specialty Transportation Managers and serve as an expanded general agency management platform to its bond markets and two existing proprietary trucking facilities.
Doug Hathway, former president of RT Specialty’s National Transportation Practice and chief underwriting officer of Interstate Insurance Management, and Pam Quilici, former chief operating officer of Crouse and Associates, which Ryan Specialty acquired in December, have been named co-presidents of Ryan Specialty̵
7;s proprietary transportation underwriting facilities , said the wholesaler.Mr. Hathaway was also appointed President of the RT Transportation Practice – Binding Authority.
In addition, Greg Crouse, who was CEO of Crouse and Associates, was named president of the RT Transportation Practice – Brokerage.
