The Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division fines a $ 104,000 roofing and painting company in Portland for six violations of occupational safety, including repeatedly failing to comply with minimum requirements to protect workers from the risk of falls, according to a statement on Thursday.  Oregon OSHA cited West Coast Roofing and Painting Inc. after an inspection that included an investigation of work activity at a Portland residential construction site, interviews with employees and a supervisor, and a review of the company's filing, according to a statement.
Of the six violations cited by Oregon OSHA, five were repeated.
In a breach, the company failed to comply with the requirements to implement adequate fall protection systems ̵
The company could not be immediately reached for comment.
