The Risk and Insurance Management Society Inc. announced on Tuesday that its annual conference and exhibition 2021 will be a fully digital event that will be held April 19-29.
RIMS had planned to hold a hybrid personal and virtual gathering in Chicago in April.
In October, the New York-based risk management association had signaled that it could lead to a completely digital event in the midst of the pandemic's continued effects.
The decision to switch to a completely digital event was made with safety and best interests in mind for all members, conference participants and employees, said a spokesman for RIMS.
