The National Council on Compensation Insurance announced on Tuesday its updated instrument panel for medical indicators and trends, which gives workers’ compensation stakeholders access to data on claims collected from 39 jurisdictions through the third quarter of 2021, including information on covid-19.
Boca Raton, Florida-based NCCI said the dashboard provides an interactive way to visualize medical services provided before and after the spread of the pandemic.
According to the NCCI, the instrument panel provides an account of covid-19-treated claims, with detailed state-specific medical data reports that include summarized statistics such as effects on medical services, time for treatment, telemedicine, prescription drugs, outpatient and outpatient surgical center visits and covid-1
9-treated statement properties.The information used in the instrument panel was taken from written work compensation premiums, which include experience of large deductible insurances.
