MS Amlin AG's CEO has resigned as CEO of the global reinsurance company while the CFO of an Amlin unit leaves the company.
Amlin said on Wednesday that Christopher Beazley left on Monday to pursue outside opportunities after leading the company for the past three years.
The statement stated that he joined MS Amlin in 2007 and has held several leadership roles within the MS Amlin Group over the past decade.
Chairman of the Board Martin Albers will serve as interim CEO. , the statement said.
Separately, the European primary insurance unit MS Amlin Insurance SE has appointed Frederic Fischer as CFO, as of Wednesday, subject to regulatory approval.
The statement said that Fischer joins Amlin from Axa SA, where he served for 25 years and was most recently CFO at Axa Corporate Solutions.
He succeeds Reijer Groenveld, who will leave the unit to pursue other options, although you gh he will remain in business until October, the statement said.
