McGriff Insurance Services Inc. on Thursday said former Acrisure LLC executive Doug Hodo will rejoin the company on Monday as chief strategic growth officer.
Mr. Hodo will be responsible for business development, producer recruitment office expansion and growth through mergers and acquisitions, and client relationship development, retention and acquisition. He will report to Read Davis, CEO of McGriff Specialty and Middle Market.
Mr. Hodo joins McGriff from Acrisure, where he led a new division focused on large enterprises.
He previously served more than 25 years at McGriff, most recently as president of the West Region, according to a statement.
McGriff Insurance Services Inc. is a subsidiary of Truist Insurance Holdings Inc., the sixth largest broker of U.S. business according to the latest Business insurance ranking, and a subsidiary of Truist Financial Corp., headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.
