Marsh LLC has appointed former IBM Corp. CEO Tamara Simpkins Franklin as Head of Digital, Data and Analysis, effective October 1.
Ms. Franklin replaces Sastry Durvasula, who left Marsh to join McKinsey & Co. as global technology and digital officer.
In his new role, Franklin will design and implement digital technology and improve the use of data and analytics to support clients, Marsh said.
Ms. Franklin was most recently Vice President of Media and Entertainment Solutions, North America at IBM. She has more than 25 years of experience leading digital transformations and defining strategies for large multinational organizations, including EW Scripps Co., Time Warner Cable and Motorola Inc., says Marsh.
