London-based non-life insurance company Charles Taylor Ltd. said Tuesday that it has acquired U.S. adjustment system Syndicate Claim Services Inc.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Indianapolis-based Syndicate Claim Services offers claims services and evaluations, judge, dispute resolution and dispute support services to insurers, third party administrators and self-insured entities, said a statement from Charles Taylor.
Syndicate Claim Services More than 370 employees will join Charles Taylor and its contractors will join the company.
The company's name will be changed to Syndicate Claim Services, a Charles Taylor company, a spokesman for Charles Taylor said in an email.
The acquisition "significantly expands our footprint" in the United States, says Vince Cole, CEO of Charles Taylor Adjusting and Technical Services, USA.
Earlier this year, Charles Taylor purchased Aegis Corp., a mutua from Brookfield, Wisconsin. l management and third party claims administrator.
