Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. on Monday promoted Becca Sniderman and Toby Smith to chief underwriting officer roles within its global risk solutions unit in North America.
Mrs. Sniderman, who joined Liberty Mutual in 2004 and most recently served as vice president, will be chief casualty underwriting officer at the unit. She will report to Brandon Fick, chief underwriting officer for the unit.
Mr. Smith, who joined Liberty Mutual via the 2017 acquisition of Ironshore and most recently led global risk solutions in the North America non-life and environmental business, will be chief specialty underwriting officer at the unit. He will report to Mr. Got and to Matt Dolan, unit chairman.
Liberty Mutual has made several executive appointments at its global risk solutions unit in North America in recent months. Earlier this month, it recruited Paul Larson from CNA Financial Corp. as head of financial lines and last month appointed Meg Sutton as chief operating officer.
