Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. announced on Thursday the appointment of Wesley Hyatt as Chief Customer Officer for the Insurer's Global Risk Resolution Department.
According to a spokesman for Liberty Mutual, Hyatt is entering a "significantly expanded" role, formerly owned by Mark Wheeler, who recently left the organization.
Ms. Hyatt, based in Boston will lead the client's management team, help manage the development risks facing clients, and help them and their brokers take full advantage of Liberty Mutual's suite of global products, services and features. She will also oversee the U.S. customer service team that provides daily support to major domestic policyholders and their brokers.
Ms. Hyatt has held a number of leading roles within Liberty Mutual in claims and account management, and most recently as senior vice president of employee compensation claims.
