teenSMART is an online program designed specifically for teenage drivers. The software includes driving simulations, videos, exercises and activities for teenagers and their parents to complete together. Studies show that completing the teenSMART program reduces the risk of having a crash by up to 30%. In addition to the safety benefits, Central is proud to offer a teen driver discount on your policy once your young driver has completed the program.

teenSMART Program Quick facts

teenSMART is available to teenage drivers between the ages of 16 and 20.
It takes about eight hours to complete the program – four hours of computer time plus exercises for parents and teenagers and in the car. The training is divided into 20-minute modules so that teenagers can complete the program at their own pace.
Central offers a 5% premium discount for teens who sign up to the program and an additional discount of up to 20%* for teen drivers who are certified to have completed the program. (*Discount varies in North Carolina)
ADEPT is discounting the program for central policyholders in June to $59.95 – a savings of $60 off the software’s list price of $119.95.
