September often gives a feeling that things are returning to normal. The holiday season ends and families send children back to school. For many of us, that longing for the normal may not be fulfilled quickly.
In this month's new insurance analysis, Natalie de Freitas and I discuss:
- mixed income reported by insurance companies and what they mean when we look ahead what insurance companies claim and how it can continue to affect the industry now that the hurricane season is back
- how insurers approach a COVID-safe return to work and how CIO, COO and CHRO assess the success of teleworking so far
Anecdotally, I can relate to many of my clients and colleagues who are really looking forward to a COVID-safe return to work. A client recently told me that he actually misses his 90-minute commute on the New Jersey Turnpike. Anyone familiar with that device will understand what a great statement it is.
