Hub International Ltd. on Monday launched Hub cannabis dispensary insurance, available through the broker’s Insureon digital commercial insurance platform for small businesses.
The system is designed to allow business owners to get quotes and buy insurance coverage online, the Hub said in a statement.
HUB cannabis dispensary insurance offers general liability coverage on an occurrence basis with limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million in the aggregate, with limits up to $5 million available; and product liability coverage with primary limits of $1 million/$2 million and limits up to $5 million available.
Commercial property coverage can be written on a primary or excess basis, using a special ISO form, with limits of $10 million per location with limits up to $20 million available.
Crop coverage for indoor and greenhouse operations is available with $10 million limits and cargo coverage limits are $1 million, higher upon approval, all according to Hub information.
Coverage is underwritten by managing agent SafeHerb, which provides “seed for sale” coverage to the cannabis and hemp industries.
