Hub International Ltd. said on Wednesday that it has launched a practice to help global companies deal with cross-border risks.
The global risk solutions practice will be led by William Mulé, Chicago-based vice president at Hub.
Mulé will report to Mary-Beth Hahn, Summit, New Jersey-based leader of complex risks at the Hub.
The global risk practice will specialize in managing complex risks in North America and in over 100 territories in Europe, Asia, Oceania, Africa and the Middle East and South America, the Chicago-based brokerage said in a statement.
Insurance and risk management services offered include: corporate and underwriting first-party programs, loss portfolio transfers and alternative risk financing; reinsurance, alternative market capacity and custom extra casualty structures; local experts to help businesses comply with national and local laws, regulations and tax laws; and updates on global issues affecting local operations.
