What does it mean for an agent to be a growth seeker?
Insurance agents often have no formal agent training. There is no university course, no formal universal curriculum and no consolidated method. Despite all this, it is a deeply human profession that requires constant and consistent personal and professional development and improvement. Agents as growth seekers, are expected to stay informed on the latest product and coverage updates while cultivating their own growth in business values. To get the most out of the growth-seeking dimension, insurers should provide agents with the means to push their boundaries, gain more expertise and become an source of influence for  others agents within a culture for sharing . As Daniel Pink said in his book " Drive " people are motivated when they have autonomy, mastery and purpose. In our opinion, insurance agents are no different from anyone else in this regard. If insurers provide agents with the tools to seek growth, whether they are prisoners or independent agents, they will pursue their own performance as well as the insurer .
