Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC, Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc.’s reinsurance brokerage unit, said Tuesday it has named officials for its global cyber business.
Matthew McCabe has been named CEO of the New York-based cyberbroker. He joins Guy Carpenter from Berkeley, Calif.-based Kivu Consulting, where he was general counsel and chief risk officer. He was previously senior vice president at Marsh where he was responsible for cyber policy.
Souki Chahid was appointed head of international cyber analysis and will be based in London. Chahid was previously Cyber Modeling Manager for CFC Underwriting Ltd.
Zain Awen, who is based in London, was named international ILS leader, responsible for analytics and transaction capabilities. He will also work with Carpenter unit GC Securities to structure and deliver cyber insurance-related securities transactions.

7;s cyber practice in London.Guy Carpenter also appointed Grace Seigle as a New York-based cyber broker. She comes from Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. reinsurance brokerage Gallagher Re, where she was a cyber specialist broker, according to LinkedIn.
