There is nothing more pure, loving and rewarding than giving back to society. Even if it's your support and concern, there are millions out there who need your solidarity more than money. Whatever religion you follow, whatever race you belong to, no matter what type of person you are, the selfless act donating to charity will be considered in the highest morality until the end of time. Too heavy? We understand. But it's just to remind you that other people need you – people who did not choose a hard life but were exposed to it; those born with developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities.
We are all good people; we work hard, root for our family, pursue our dreams, contribute to society and are good citizens who care about those around us. But the world has become so fast ̵
At Paradiso Insurance, we believe that companies like ours and yours, people like you and us, are the backbone of society. Our donations help keep society up. That's why we organize many charity events and donation exercises. One such initiative is the Denim event in December, through which we raise money for Journey Found. It's simple and fun, helpful and rewarding.
What is denim in December all about?
It's all about giving to society. Employees of companies, school children, entrepreneurs, anyone belonging to an organization of any kind can participate in this event.
The authoritative bodies of these institutions – can also be community centers – allow all their members to wear jeans to their job for one month in exchange for a donation. This donation is in the form of money and is directed to the Journey Found.
In addition, wearing jeans is a symbolic display of solidarity with those facing developmental challenges.
The Journey Founds mission is "to provide behavioral, housing and other support services for individuals in Connecticut with profound developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities to enable everyone to become what they can be. " – The journey found.
The organization provides housing and support to the masses facing developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities.
The donations and funds raised through events such as Denim in December will all go to improving housing and upgrading / providing center equipment.
