Embroker Inc., a digital insurance broker, said Thursday it has introduced an online platform that offers commercial coverage to startup founders.
ONE by Embroker asks founders 14 questions and uses the data points to generate up to four quotes specific to the exact coverage they need.
Seven coverages are currently available through the platform with limits as follows: directors and officers liability, $5 million; technical errors and omissions and cyber packages, $5 million; attorneys’ professional liability, $5 million; crime watch, $3 million; Employment Liability, $2 million; fiduciary liability, $1 million; and monoline cyber and privacy liability, $2 million.
Coverage, which is available on both an admitted and non-admitted basis, is provided under policies prepared by Embroker but is expected to be extended to additional insurers. Embroker acts as a managing general agency and retains the risk through its captive insurer.
