Pathpoint Inc., which describes itself as a digital wholesaler for surplus and surplus line insurance, was officially launched on Thursday, the San Francisco-based company said in a statement.
Pathpoint said it uses its own technology platform and has had a "soft" launch underway with hundreds of agents in six states in recent months.
The agency is led by CEO Bobby Touran, who previously worked at HVF Labs, a fintech venture capital company, and Noodle Markets, an educational technology company. .
