CFC Underwriting Ltd launched a cyber insurance platform last week that offers coverage quotes for SMEs based solely on submission of a domain name, with additional information automatically obtained through publicly available information.
London-based general manager said the cyber insurance platform also allows brokers to adjust quotes, including borders and deductibles, without involving an insurer.
In addition, the system provides brokers with information on benchmarking, including average purchase price and common requirements based on the size, industry and location of the policyholder, CFC said in a statement.
"By answering a simple question, brokers can immediately access a set of custom quote options based on their preset preferences, create brand new quote variations with a set of intuitive controls, and bind directly," says Graeme Newman, chief innovation manager at CFC. , in the statement. [1
