A significant portion of this fraud was due to telephone transactions. Central has taken steps to protect your credit and debit card information based on the payment card industry's data security standards (PCI DSS).
To protect your card information, Central has decided to stop the practice of taking full credit card numbers by telephone. Instead, new credit and debit card numbers can be entered from our policyholder's personal units directly on our third party supplier's secure website.
To use this new feature, call Customer Service at 800-786-9052 and let us know if you would like to make a credit card payment. We send a link via text message or e-mail. Just click on the link and follow the instructions to enter your card number. Our system will be updated immediately and you will receive a notification that your payment has been sent!
