A significant portion of the fraud was due to telephone transfers. So, Central has taken steps to protect your credit and debit card information based on the debit card industry's data security standards (PCI DSS).
To protect your card information, Central has decided to stop the practice of taking full credit card numbers by telephone. Instead, new credit and debit card numbers can be entered from our policyholder's personal devices directly to our third-party provider's secure website.
To use this new feature, call a customer service representative at 800-786-9052 and let us know if you would like to pay by credit card. We will send you a link via text message or e-mail. Just click on the link and follow the instructions to enter your card number. Our system will be updated immediately, and you will receive a notification that your payment has been sent!
