Chubb Ltd. appointed on Wednesday Richard Barnett, vice president, head of North America's construction protection.
The announcement follows former Chubb Mayor Matthew Lubin's appointment as chairman of the bail division at Crum & Forster Holding Corp., as of September 20
Whitehouse Station, New Jersey-based Mr. Barnett joined Chubb in 1986 as a guarantor and was previously guarantor director of technology and construction, where he handled insurance for large construction clients, Chubb said in a statement
In his new role, Mr. Barnett will lead insurance guarantee, strategy and manage construction coverage guarantees and services offered through Chubb's global large accounts segment, the insurer said.
He will report to Stephen Haney, Vice President, Chubb Group and Division President, Guarantor of North America and Chief Guarantee, Global Guarantee.
In the meantime, in his new role, Lubin will be responsible for Gro Flyer and manages Crum & Forster's guarantee portfolio and will report to Crum & Forster's CEO Marc Adee, Morristown, New Jersey-based subsidiary of Canada-based Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. , said Tuesday.
Mr. Lubin joins Crum & Forster after more than three decades in various citizen-focused leadership roles at Chubb, the past five years as Vice President of Building Warranty.
