Brown & Brown Inc. said Wednesday it had hired former Premier Insurance Management Services Inc. chief Matthew Siciliani as vice president, health care growth.
The brokerage also said Wednesday it had added four to its research team.
Based in the company’s offices in Sacramento, California, Mr. Sicilani to lead strategic planning and delivery of healthcare services, it said in a statement.
He was most recently senior vice president of underwriting and business development for Premier.
The broker said Hamzeh Gol-Zaroudi, Scott Kaminski, Caleb Blodgett and Thomas Scott have also joined the firm.
Mr. Gol-Zaroudi joins Brown & Brown as a senior analyst for catastrophe modeling and is focused on property and energy team initiatives, particularly technical risk quantification research and exposure data strategy.
He has most recently worked with research and modelling.
As a research actuary on the team, Kaminski will focus on risk quantification of cyber, D&O and non-cat property R&D projects. He was most recently an actuary at Travelers Cos. Inc.
Mr. Blodgett is a research actuary specializing in cyber liability risk modeling. He was most recently manager, actuary and analysis at Travelers Cos. Inc.
Mr. Scott also works as a research actuary in the team, specializing in property and D&O risk modelling. He was most recently an actuary at AF Group Inc.
