Axa XL, a division of Axa SA, announced on Monday its new America's leadership team, which is based on the readjustment, was first announced in April.
All three executives report to Joe Tocco, CEO of Americas.
Donna Nadeau, based in New York, was appointed chief of insurance officials and moved from her current position as chief executive in North America, Axa said in a statement on Monday. Ms. Nadeau will also report to Nancy Bewlay, who was previously announced global chief insurance officer, a spokeswoman said in an email.
Bob Peretti, based in New York, was appointed head of distribution. Peretti has led Axa XL's North America's client and distribution management team since 201
Jim DiVirgilio was appointed principal. He most recently led Axa XL's claims management operations in North America, the statement says. Mr DiVirgilio will remain based in Hartford, Connecticut and will also report to Brent Hoffman, Global Responsibility Manager, the spokeswoman said.
Axa XL also announced zonal leadership appointments for the three US zones – East, Central and West – created by the insurer's new regional structure.
Matt O'Malley will lead the East, based in New York. He most recently handled Axa XL's accident surplus and surplus and environmental operations in the United States, the statement said.
Todd Sutherland will lead the Central Zone, based in Chicago. He was most recently the regional leader of North Central.
Mike Soper will lead the West, based in San Francisco. He was most recently Western regional leader.
The regional lead roles have recently been created and report to Mr. Tocco, whose national team in America also includes Patrick Tannock as Country Manager, Bermuda; Urs Uhlmann as Country Manager, Canada; and Renato Rodrigues as Regional Manager, Latin America.
