Axa XL said Friday it has hired Casey Santangelo, formerly president of art at Dual North America Inc., as head of art and art for the Americas.
She replaces Patrick Drummond, who left the company last year.
Santangelo, based in New York, had joined Dual in January to lead an art program and before that worked in art, construction and inland marine risk at Travelers Cos. Inc.
She reports to Maria Duhart, chief underwriting officer, Americas specialty niche.
Axa XL also announced the appointments of regional and zonal leaders for its arts and crafts business.
Gary Kerr was appointed underwriting manager, US East zone; Barbara Corvino, underwriting manager, US Central zone; Jake Burgess, underwriting manager, US West Zone; Farzina Coladon, underwriting manager, Canada and Natasha Fekula, claims manager, Americas.
Mr. Drummond joined presenter Distinguished Programs to lead a new art and collectors team last December.
