On Monday, Aon PLC announced several changes in the management of its reinsurance broker.
The moves come about a month after the brokerage reshaped its lead after the termination of the deal to buy rival Willis Towers Watson PLC. During the reinsurance changes, Joe Monaghan was appointed to the role of Global Growth Leader. He will continue as CEO of Aon's partnership in the public sector.
Tim Ronda was also named global geographical leader for Aon's reinsurance solutions. Previously, he was president of reinsurance solutions in the United States. That role will not be filled, a spokesman for Aon said.
Nick Frankland was appointed chairman of Aon's insurance consulting group. Previously, he was the UK's CEO of reinsurance solutions.
Richard Posgate was named Chief Strategy Officer. He was previously co-CEO of EMEA.
The four executives will report to Andy Marcell, global CEO of reinsurance solutions.
Leonara Siccardi was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Reinsurance Solutions. Previously, she was global head of operations and customer services.
All the new positions are newly created.
Sarah Walker, Aon's Deputy General Counsel, will oversee the reinsurance settlement's global legal and compliance support, Aon said in a statement.
In January, Aon announced changes in its leadership structure, including its reinsurance business, that integrated Willis executives into the proposed merged entity. That structure was rounded off after the deal was closed. Then Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. joined. helping to buy much of Willis' reinsurance business.
