Personal Question: Please take our survey .
MGAs do not always get much love, and we at AgentSync are trying to change on that. The past year has been a mind-expanding conversation with state commissioners across the country, where they talked about carrier appointments, MGA and MGU regulations and who needs to follow what regulations.
We also spoke directly with MGAs who thought they were agencies, agencies that thought they were MGAs and MGAs that were MGAs and knew it. Is it weird that "What is an MGA?" is one of the most common search phrases in the industry? Apparently it can be just as confusing from the inside.
These conversations made us realize that there is a vacuum of knowledge in the industry around MGA, MGU, and who does what (and why). Here's the question: If you're an MGA or an MGU, or think you may be, please take our survey on the basics of what you are and what you do in the insurance pipeline.

Our plan: With your help we will collect information about MGAs and MGUs and then compile the insights in a white paper. We do not collect your personal information for a marketing stick ̵1; you can leave your e-mail address if you want us to send you an e-mail when the white paper is ready, but even that is not necessary. So please, help an honest computer nerd, take our vote and help us help you better understand this mysterious corner of the industry.
