Agency Portal Overview – InsuredMine CRM



Agency portal is created for the agent so that he can have an overview of all his existing customers in a single dashboard. Most of the information in the Agency Portal is pulled from the Agency Management System (AMS) that the agent uses including their customers, premiums, carriers, etc. Agency Portal has built-in APIs to pull data into our Agency Portal. You do not need to manually update the data in the Agency portal. There are several components of the agency portal dashboard which are explained in detail below.

dashboard – Our dashboard provides an overall view of all our KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) relating to the agent’s book of business. Dashboard components can be viewed and accessed with a mouse pointer or by clicking on actionable items (indicated in orange). Some actionable items on the dashboard include:

1. Widgets: Widgets have been developed to help agencies know statistics and provide simple information about the business. They can be sorted and filtered based on the agents’ business needs. They can also be customized as needed. Below are four examples of widgets filtered by:

  • Customers by age – See your customers filtered by their age range. This histogram chart gives you the age distribution of your current contact database.
  • Policies after expiration date – You can see a snapshot of all policies set to expire in a given month. When you select a particular month, below the chart, you can see the total policies with a number underneath. The orange number is an action item, which when clicked will provide information about all your customers with policies set to expire in that month. You can select all these customers and send an email to the mall to remind them. We will cover the subject of mass mail in the “Email Campaign” section.
  • Policies per industry – This donut chart widget allows you to visualize your book of business line by line to understand what percentage of total business a particular line represents.
  • Contacts – See your customers sorted either by their first or last name. Get access to all names and be able to communicate with your contacts with a single click.
  • Client Location on Google Map – Map widget helps you identify client clusters in seconds and keep your agency well represented geographically to maintain better loss ratios.

2. Boxes for key measurements: Provides an overall view of the statistics of your business including customers, premium, policies and operators. A limited number of items makes you focus on them. All but premium are clickable. By clicking on these key figures, you get access to a list of all customers, all policies or all operators.

3. Chatting: Chats provide a history of all chat conversations you’ve had with a customer.

4. Left navigation: The left navigation panel has all the key functions that can be accessed with a mouse click.

5. Notices: Messages includes any messages you may have received from your customers.

6. Notifications: Any reminders you have set for yourself will appear as notifications.

7. List of tasks: An overview of all the tasks you need to complete and also a list of completed tasks. You can also add/create tasks directly in the list.
