Mandatory vaccinations in the workplace became a hot-button issue early in the launch of the covid-19 vaccines. ex. those in health care and nursing homes across the United States, came with a potentially real side effect: compensation to workers if a worker suffers side effects.

These problems. was one of the reasons why some legal experts at the time said that compulsory vaccinations may not be the best way to maintain a safe workplace. Others, however, pointed to the increase in presumptive legislation – laws that made it possible for employees who contracted covid-19 to assume they were infected at work – as a reason to require a vaccine.
